Lux, Unilever's iconic beauty brand, has partnered with established and international fashion designer, Abed Mahfouz, to showcase the first ever soap dress in the world. The dress which took three months to stitch was revealed during Fashion Forward Dubai in an event that was attended by high profiled beauty and fashion experts. 

The idea of creating the first ever soap dress was stimulated by the strong fragrance that is found in all Lux products. Special soap paper was sourced from India and infused with the Lux fragrance to create the first ever soap dress inspired by Lux. The soap comes from a combination of precious elixirs with rare ingredients, composed by the World’s best perfume experts. It provides a unique sensorial experience on the skin and therefore awakens every woman’s sense of beauty. 

Lux worked with Firmenich, the world's largest privately-owned fragrance company, which is behind globally-renown fine fragrances such as Dolce& Gabbana and Elie Saab to create the fragrance present in Lux’s Soft Touch bar and shower gel. “The fashion show with our masterpiece and the first ever soap dress clearly portrayed Lux’s commitment to creating indulgent skin treats that provide exceptional experiences for women around the world. As part of the event, Abed Mahfouz also showcased his latest Spring Summer 2017 collection named “Secret Glow” for the first time in an exclusive fashion show. The collection included pastel colors inspired by Lux with the finale showing the Lux dress.

عبد محفوظ يكشف عن أول فستان من الصابون على الإطلاق، من لوكس

تعاونت لوكس، علامة الجمال الشهيرة من يونيليفر مع المصمم العالمي عبد محفوظ، من أجل عرض أول فستان من الصابون على الإطلاق في العالم. وتم الكشف عن الفستان الذي استغرق العمل عليه حوالى ثلاثة أشهر في فعالية "فاشن فورورد دبي" التي حضرها حشد من الخبراء في الجمال والموضة من الصف الأول.

انبثقت فكرة ابتكار أول فستان من الصابون على الإطلاق من العطور القوية التي تفوح من منتجات لوكس. وتم استيراد ورق صابون مميّز من الهند وغمره بعطر لوكس من أجل ابتكار أول فستان من الصابون على الإطلاق من لوكس. والصابون عبارة عن مزيج من إكسيرات فاخرة مع مكوّنات نادرة، من ابتكار أفضل خبراء العالم في صناعة العطور يمنح تجربة تداعب كل الأحاسيس وتوقظ الإحساس بالجمال لدى كل امرأة.

وعملت لوكس جنباً إلى جنب فيرمينيتش، أكبر شركة خاصة للعطور في العالم، تتولى ابتكار أشهر العطور على الإطلاق، لا سيما دولتشي أند جابانا، وعطور إيلي صعب، من أجل صنع العطر الذي يعبق بصابون وجل الاستحمام لوكس لمسة ناعمة. وعن الفستان والفعالية قالت مديرة قسم منتجات العناية الشخصية في شركة يونيليفرالخليج سابين فظلي: "جسّد عرض الأزياء الذي كشفنا فيه عن التحفة الباهرة في التصميم وعن أول فستان من الصابون على الإطلاق، التزام لوكس بابتكار منتجات تهتم بالبشرة وتمنح المرأة أينما كانت في العالم تجربة استثنائية. تؤمن لوكس بأن الجمال ليس مهمة شاقة، بل إنه من ملذات الحياة. أما الاستحمام بصابون لوكس يومياً فيمنحك الشعور بالتحوّل والتغيير كل يوم، ومساعدة كل امرأة لتشعر بأنوثتها التي لا تُقاوم لتكون واثقة بنفسها في كل لحظة."

هذا وعرض المصمّم العالمي عبد محفوظ أثناء الفعالية تشكيلته الحديثة لربيع وصيف 2017 التي حملت عنوان Secret Glow للمرة الأولى في عرض أزياء حصري. وتضمّنت التشكيلة ألوان الباستيل المستوحاة من لوكس لكي يكشف الستار في النهاية عن أول فستان مصنوع من الصابون.
